Savage has been named Assistant Vice President, Senior Small Business Lender. He also acts as Community Office Manager and oversees three of the bank’s Broome County offices. Jim has 27 years of banking experience, the last five years at Tioga State Bank where he has served as Assistant Vice President, Business Development Officer. Jim will be responsible for small business lending in the Broome County market and will assist the bank’s other lenders in meeting the needs of small businesses. He will continue his supervisory responsibilities in the Vestal, Conklin Avenue and Upper Front Street Offices. Jim’s office is located at Tioga State Bank’s Vestal office located at 1250 Vestal Parkway East, Vestal. “I look forward to developing new relationships and helping many small businesses with their financial needs – whether it is with a real estate or operating loan, cash management services, merchant capture or finding the right checking solutions – I can help,” said Jim. “Helping small businesses grow and flourish is part of what has made Tioga State Bank unique for over 140 years.” Jim is a member of Tioga State Bank’s internal Loan Committee, Vice President of the Broome Leadership Alumni Association, a member of Vestal Rotary, a member of the Friends of the Library of SUNY Binghamton, CYO Athletic Moderator for St. James Parish, a member of the Board of Directors for The Rural Health Network of SCNY Finance Committee, and a parent of a Special Olympic athlete. Jim holds a Bachelors degree and a MBA degree from Mount St. Mary’s and has also completed the Central Atlantic School of Commercial Lending at Bucknell University. He lives in Johnson City with his wife, Beverly, and daughter, Jeannette.
