Current Positions

Customer Service Center Representative – Spencer Office

Responds in a professional and timely manner to incoming telephone calls from customers with inquiries or requests for information. Provides friendly, courteous and efficient customer service. Identifies customer needs for cross-selling opportunities. Acts as the central operator as necessary, screens incoming calls and identifies customers’ needs. Uses effective communication skills to process customer inquiries and resolve problems. Must have strong computer skills as well as outstanding customer service skills. Will be required to maintain a high level of knowledge of bank products and services.

Customer Service Representative (Teller) Part-Time – Owego Office

Services customers through various teller transactions. Provides customer service to retain and grow customer relationships. Cross-sells products and services and identifies business opportunities for referrals to appropriate personnel. Candidate should have exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills. Requires attention to detail and accuracy skills, High School diploma or equivalent required. Six months of customer service/cash handling experience preferred. Works a total of 16 hours per week.  Specific daily hours to be determined.

Customer Service Representative (Teller) Part-Time – Candor Office

Services customers through various teller transactions. Provides customer service to retain and grow customer relationships. Cross-sells products and services and identifies business opportunities for referrals to appropriate personnel. Candidate should have exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills. Requires attention to detail and accuracy skills, High School diploma or equivalent required. Six months of customer service/cash handling experience preferred. Works Monday through Friday for a total of 28 hours. Specific daily hours to be determined.

Commercial Loan Documentation Specialist – Owego NY

Assists both internal and external customers with questions on commercial loans. Reviews all documentation to verify that it is properly prepared to ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state and local regulations, as well as bank policies and procedures. Prepares loan files for closings. Successful candidate will have the ability to establish work priorities and remain flexible, as well as the ability to efficiently respond in an effective manner to a variety of demands in a fast-paced environment. Must have strong computer skills. Position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail and accuracy skills. High school diploma or equivalent required. Associates Degree specializing in a related field preferred. Minimum 3 years experience with commercial loan documentation normally required. Some experience with Streamline and Laser Pro platform systems preferred.

Customer Service Representative (Teller)  Temporary Position – Broome County

Tioga State Bank is seeking an individual for a temporary Teller position. This individual will be trained as a teller and will be assigned to offices in Broome County as needed. No specific duration has been determined, however it is likely that the need will be for up to six months.  This individual will service customers through various teller transactions. Tellers provide customer service to retain and grow customer relationships, cross-sells products and services and identifies business opportunities for referrals to appropriate personnel. Candidate should have exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills. Requires attention to detail and accuracy skills, High School diploma or equivalent required. Six months of customer service/cash handling experience preferred.

Commercial Lender

Tioga State Bank is seeking a commercial lender with a proven track record in new business development, relationship management, and related business services.  A minimum of three years in commercial banking with a background in commercial underwriting and product sales required.  A comprehensive knowledge of commercial banking products and services is essential.  BA degree preferred.  Knowledge of the local market is highly desirable.
