Fraud Center Notifications

Your account is continuously being monitored for unusual activity, and we will contact you if we detect a change in your normal debit card usage. When potential debit card fraud is detected, you may receive one or more of the following notifications:

  1. Text message.
  2. Email notification. You will receive an email if you did not respond to the text alert after 5 minutes of receiving it.
  3. Phone call. If no response is received, you will receive automatic phone calls.

If you confirm that the transaction in question as “fraud,” your card will be blocked and a Fraud Center Analyst will contact you for more information. If you cannot be reached to confirm the transaction as “fraud” or “no fraud”, then a temporary block will be placed on your debit card until a response is received.

Remember: our messages will never ask for your PIN, account number, or other personal information.

Depending on the level of confidence in the suspected fraud, your check card may be blocked from completing further transactions at any point during this process until you either confirm or deny fraud.
