Tell us one of your favorite local business and why.
Soprano’s Italian Market – I love that it has been a staple of our community for as long as I can remember. The feeling of home and family with the deli and bakery offerings has always been a staple in our family. It reminds me of my mom and her love for the store throughout my years growing up. You knew it would be a good day when you were standing in that bakery line!
What do you like most about working for TSB?
TSB has offered me the ability to continue to grow as an employee through management and mortgage originations. I can focus on department goals while continuing to push myself as an originator. The leadership at Tioga State Bank has always encouraged and supported my ideas.
What inspired you to pursue a career in mortgage lending?
When I was 20 years old a previous employer asked me to help him start a mortgage company. At the time, I had no idea what a mortgage company was, but I was ambiuious and always looking for a new challenge. I ended up finding a career that allows me to help families and individuals accomplish one of their biggest financial goals, homeownership. I have helped people find security and joy through this process and that helps me feel fulfilled in what I do.
