Susan Farrell
Vice President Business Development Officer
Susan joined Tioga State Bank in January 2020. Although she has been with TSB for a short time, she has contributed to many areas of the bank.
When Susan first joined TSB, her focus was on finding banking solutions for municipalities. Then, when the pandemic began, she quickly became part of the PPP team, working countless hours to help businesses that were affected by the pandemic. She currently helps floor planning businesses with their banking needs.
Susan is not only passionate about serving the needs of her customers but her community as well. She is involved in a number of organizations. Susan is on the Central Region Council of the NYS Government Finance Officers Association, a member of the NY Association of School Business Officials, and the Board Vice President of the Binghamton Local Development Corporation.

What do you like to do for fun?
I love to travel with my daughters. Our favorite place was Baha Mar in the Bahamas. It was paradise! I also enjoy cooking.
What is something people may not know about you?
I have a Goldendoodle named Kailey, who is almost 6.
What 3 words describe your personality?
I like to think of myself as outgoing, helpful, and fun.
Tell us your favorite local business and why.
Frank’s in Maine, NY is my favorite. They have the best spaghetti with clams!
What do you like the most about being a business banker?
The thing I like most about my job is spending time with my customers. Building long-lasting relationships is important to me, and I enjoy learning about their business and fulfilling their business banking needs.
What do you like the most about working for Tioga State Bank?
What I like most about working at TSB is the people! Our employees truly care for their communities and our customers.
What inspired you to pursue a career in business banking?
My Corporate Finance college professor. My professor was my advisor as well and helped me get an on-campus interview with Chemical Bank. I landed the job and started as a Commercial Credit Analyst after 8 months of Credit Training in NYC.
