What is MasterCard 3-D Secure?
MasterCard 3-D Secure is a FREE service facilitated by MasterCard that lets cardholders transact online securely using their Debit or Credit Card. This service is available only on 3-D Secure merchant sites. MasterCard 3-D Secure uses password protection during an Internet purchase to authenticate the customer as an added fraud prevention measure.
What are the benefits of MasterCard 3-D Secure and how does it protect me?
MasterCard 3-D Secure provides added assurance by verifying you while using your Tioga State Bank ATM/Debit card to make payments online. A private code means added protection against unauthorized use of your Card when you make payments online.
MasterCard 3-D Secure protects your existing Tioga State Bank ATM/Debit card giving you assurance that you and only you can use your Tioga State Bank ATM/Debit Card for electronic payments. The added protection of Tioga State Bank ATM/Debit card is automatically enabled on your card.
What is a MasterCard 3-D Secure/One Time Password (OTP)?
A SecureCode/One-time Password is a password that is valid for only one login session or transaction, on a computer system or other digital devices. SecureCode/OTP is automatically generated and sent via:
- SMS text message to your mobile device
- Voice call
How do I register for MasterCard 3-D Secure?
No registration is required. This feature has been automatically enabled on your card. Please ensure that your contact information is up to date with us, as the OTP will be sent using the records we have on file.
How can I update my contact information?
To update your contact information, please log onto TSB Online, visit us at any Tioga State Bank Community Office, or call the Tioga State Bank Customer Service Center at 888-303-4TSB (4872).
Will I be charged for MasterCard 3-D Secure?
